You can delete your Sign Work Pro account at any time, from the app or by asking us. This applies to team members (people who send documents) and to clients (people who sign them).
Delete it in the app
- Team members: open the Sign Work Pro app, go to More → My account, tap Delete my account and confirm.
- Clients: open the app, go to the Account tab, tap Delete my account and confirm.
Your account is deleted straight away and you are signed out on every device.
Or ask us to delete it
If you no longer have the app, email support@signworkpro.com from the email address on your account, with the subject “Delete my account”. We will confirm the request is yours and delete the account within 30 days, then let you know it is done.
What is deleted
- Your ability to sign in, your password and your app sign-ins on every device
- Your phone number, two-step verification settings and trusted devices
- Push notification registrations for your devices
- Your email address is removed from the account, so you can sign up again with it later
What is kept, and why
Documents belong to the organisation that sent them, and completed documents are legal records. So:
- Documents you sent or signed, their Certificates of Completion, and your name on them, stay with the organisation that sent them.
- The audit trail of each document (who viewed, signed or changed it, and when) is kept unchanged, because it is the evidence that the signing took place. A record that your account was deleted is added to it.
These records are kept for as long as the organisation and applicable law require, as described in our Privacy Policy. To ask about a specific organisation’s records, contact that organisation or email us.
Before a team member deletes their account
- If you are your organisation’s only administrator and others are still on the team, make another team member an administrator first (Account → Users on the website).
- If you are the last person on an account with an active subscription, cancel it first under Account → Billing on the website.
